The Udaipur Municipal Council has issued an official notification inviting applications from eligible Indian citizens permanently residing in Tripura for the recruitment of Ward Secretary (Group-C, Non-Gazetted) posts. The recruitment will be carried out under the revised recruitment rules of 2024, as approved by the Urban Development Department, Tripura.

Educational Qualification:

  • Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

  • Computer Knowledge is mandatory (Certificate must be attached).

  • Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC) is required.

  • Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok language.

Age Limit (as on 15th July 2025):

  • 18 to 40 years

  • Relaxable by 5 years for:

    • SC/ST candidates

    • Physically Handicapped candidates

    • Women candidates

    • Government employees

  • Pre-revised: Pay Band-2 ₹5700 – ₹24,000 + Grade Pay ₹2200

  • Revised Pay Matrix 2018: Level-7 of Tripura State Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2018

  • Type of Engagement: Fixed pay basis (Regular scale posts kept in abeyance)
