Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Matriculation (10th Pass) from a recognized board.
Possession of domicile certificate for the applied state.
Knowledge of local language/dialect (ability to read, write, and speak).
Desirable:
Field experience in intelligence work.
Age Limit:
18 to 27 years (as on 17.08.2025)
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST: +5 years
OBC (NCL): +3 years
Ex-Servicemen: as per Govt. norms
Women (widows/divorced/judicially separated): up to 35–40 years
Meritorious sportspersons: up to 5 years
Exam Pattern
The selection process consists of three tiers:
Tier-I: Online Objective Test (100 marks, 1 hour)
General Awareness
Quantitative Aptitude
Reasoning Ability
English Language
General Studies
> Note: ¼ mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Tier-II: Descriptive Test (50 marks, 1 hour)
Translation of 500-word passage:
From local language to English
From English to local language

Service Liability
Selected candidates must be willing to accept All India Transfer Liability (AITL).
