The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has announced the recruitment of eligible male and female meritorious sportsmen and women for the post of Head Constable (General Duty) under the Sports Quota for the year 2025. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 403 vacancies through online applications.

Eligibility and Pay Details:
Selected candidates will be appointed at Pay Level-4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100) along with usual allowances as per Central Government norms. The recruits will be governed by the CISF Act and Rules as well as Central Civil Services Rules applicable to other members of the Force.
On appointment, candidates will also be entitled to pension benefits under the National Pension System (NPS), applicable to all Central Government employees who joined on or after 1st January 2004.
Recruitment Process:
The recruitment will be conducted in two main stages:
- First Stage:
- Trial Test
- Proficiency Test
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Documentation
- Second Stage:
- Medical Examination
Candidates must bring original certificates, including Sports Certificates, for verification at the Documentation stage.
Important Notes:
- The vacancies will be filled on an All India basis.
- Final selection will be based on the marks secured during the Proficiency Test and the merit of the sports achievements/certificates, provided candidates qualify in the Trial Test, Proficiency Test, Physical Standard Test, Documentation, Medical Examination, and meet other stipulated criteria.
- Admit Cards and call-up letters for all recruitment stages will be made available online only on the official CISF recruitment website: https://cisfrectt.cisf.gov.in/. No hard copies will be sent by post.
- Candidates are advised to regularly check the website for updates and must bring their admit cards to the test centers.
Nationality:
Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
How to Apply:
Candidates can apply online only through the official CISF recruitment portal between 18th May and 6th June 2025. Applications submitted by any other mode will not be accepted.
Eligibility Criteria for CISF Head Constable (General Duty) Sports Quota – 2025
1. Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed 12th class (Senior Secondary) from a recognized educational institution.
- Candidates should have represented State, National, or International level in games, sports, or athletics.
- Educational certificates from boards other than State or Central Boards must be accompanied by a Government of India notification confirming the equivalence of such qualification to 12th class pass for Central Government service.
2. Age Limit:
- Age must be between 18 to 23 years as of 1st August 2025.
- Candidates must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 2002 and not later than 1st August 2007.

- For Departmental candidates with at least 3 years continuous Central Government service:

3. Sports Participation Criteria:
For Individual Events:
Candidates must have fulfilled one of the following:
- Represented the country in a Senior/Junior International tournament, OR
- Represented the State or equivalent unit in National Games/National Championship at Senior or Junior level, OR
- Won a medal in All India Inter University Championship, OR
- Won a Gold Medal in National School Games/Championship.
For Team Events:
Candidates must have fulfilled one of the following as a playing member of the team:
- Represented the country in a Senior/Junior International tournament, OR
- Represented the State or equivalent unit in National Games/National Championship at Senior or Junior level, OR
- Been a member of a medal-winning team in All India Inter University Championship, OR
- Won a Gold Medal in National School Games/Championship.
Important Notes:
- Candidates must possess the essential qualifications by the closing date of application submission; late qualifications will not be accepted.
- Only those sportsmen/women who have participated in relevant games/championships between 1st January 2023 and 6th June 2025 are eligible.
- Applications will be evaluated based on evidence provided for participation in any of the recognized competitions, tournaments, or games.
- The following championships/games will be considered:
- International tournaments approved by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports
- Senior/Junior national championships organized by National Sports Federations recognized by the Department of Youth Affairs & Sports or National Games by the Indian Olympic Association
- Inter-University competitions conducted by the Association of Indian Universities/Inter University Sports Board
- National sports/games for schools conducted by the All India School Games Federation
