Degree College Admission Tripura Notification: First Semester UG (B.A/B.Sc/B.Com – Major & Minor) – Academic Year 2025–26

Students who have passed Higher Secondary (HS)/equivalent examination and are interested in admission to Government General Degree Colleges (GDCs) in Tripura for the academic year 2025–26 are informed that the admission process will be conducted online only through the SAMARTH portal.

 Important Instructions for Students

1.  Only Online Admission: Admission will be conducted exclusively through SAMARTH portal. No offline application will be accepted.
2.  Apply Here:
   • https://highereducation.tripura.gov.in
   • https://dhetripuraadmission.samarth.ac.in
3.  Create Individual Account: Students must register and create their Login ID on the SAMARTH portal.
4.  Choice Filling:
   • Apply to maximum 4 Colleges
   • Choose maximum 2 Major subjects per College
5.  Merit List Criteria:
   • Merit list will be prepared based on Index Percentage: \text{Index %} = \frac{\text{Best 5 subjects (HS)} + \text{Subject chosen for Major}}{6}
   • Reservation policy of the state will be followed.
6.  Re-application Opportunity: If not selected in any applied college, students can reapply to colleges with vacancies.
7.  Provide Accurate Info: Use your own Email ID & Phone number, provide accurate marks, Aadhaar/Enrollment Number, and upload correct photo and documents.
8.  Keep a Copy: Save or print the final submitted application.
